GOLF Link has launched a new service to its members.
Using GOLF Link SMS you will be able to receive your current handicap and latest competition details on your mobile phone.
It's quicker and cheaper than buying the paper and you can easily forward your results to your friends!

There are 2 ways to start using the service:
|

1. Subscribe via your mobile phone:*
|
| i. |
In a text message, type "SUBSCRIBE" and your GOLF Link number, e.g. SUBSCRIBE 2020101010.^
|
| ii. |
SMS it to 199 GLINK (199 45465)
|
| iii. |
GOLF Link will instantly send back the details of your latest competition
(See the example image on the left)
|
| iv. |
After each competition round, you will automatically receive your updated handicap, score and the best score of the day.
|
| v. |
The first 3 SMS Handicap Alerts you receive will be free. Subsequent SMS Alerts will be charged at $1.00 per SMS.

Important
Your mobile phone must be able to accept
Premium SMS services
to be able to receive GOLF
Link
Handicap Alerts. Please check with your carrier that premium SMS is enabled
on your phone.

2. Single Handicap Alert:*
|
| i. |
In a text message, type your GOLF Link number, e.g. 2020101010.^
|
| ii. |
SMS it to 199 GLINK (199 45465)
You will receive a Handicap Alert after each request at a cost of $1.25 per SMS
|
| iii. |
You will receive your latest competition result.

This service allows you to retreive your handicap whenenever you may need it.
Note: This is not a subscription service.
