Event Information
The Race to Cypress Lakes is a unique
opportunity for amateur handicap golfers to compete in a
professional style tour and earn their way to the amateur
equivalent of the European and US Tours end of season finals!
How does it work?
- 3 Open Competitions played at leading Queensland courses, run
from November to January and culminating in a State final at Links
Hope Island on 2nd March 2012.
- At each event players will earn points and vie for position on
the Order of Merit. Entrance to each qualifying event includes the
following:
- 18 holes at the host course
- Food and beverage voucher
- Winner qualifies for the State final
- Order of Merit points are awarded according to grade and
overall performance
- All GOLF Link Mates members receive a $20
discount off the entrance fee to each qualifying event
- The state final will be an 18 hole race for the title and a
chance to qualify for the first National Race Series Final at the
gorgeous Cypress Lakes Resort in the beautiful NSW Hunter
Valley.
